THERMOMASTER CHIP

I have a 1988 GTA with the 5.7, my question is will a hypertech chip from a 1989 GTA 5.7 work in my 1988, hypertech tells me no, but I think sometimes they tell you that so you have to buy a new one. I cant imagine that the ecm would change from 1988 to 1989.

Thanks

Lots of changes happened from 88 to 89. The ECM is the same, but the 88 uses a cold-start injector, the 89 doesnt. Dont even bother with a Hypertech chip anyway, they're junk. Go with Ed Wright at www.fastchip.com
