ok look i was just curious...i know this sounds dumb...but i just wanted to know how to reset the computer in an 89 firebird tpi...i know it is dumb...but my friend thinks that all you have to do is undo the negative terminal and wait a few minutes...then my other friend told me that dodge has it where you turn the key 15 times or something...i dont know...but if someone could jsut help me out with that i would be happy

Pull one of the battery cables, im not sure which one, or pull the fuse in the fuse box.

 

Pull the neg. battery cable off, wait approx. 30 sec. (2-3 minutes to be safe) then reattach the cable.
