Now all I hear is a small click when I hit the button,is there a fuse somewhere??Any ideas????

Is the fault intermittant or is it happening 100% of the time?

It just died yesterday when I hit lockor unlock there is a small clicking noise coming from near the fuse box,how doI fix it?????

Does it do the same thing from the other door as well, if you try the lock/unlock buttons on the pass door? May be that your switch has developed corrosion on the contacts. My '85 did that once...

Yes both doolocks do not respond and all four buttons don't work,is a fuse,what do you guys think??

Sorry I didn't get back to your post yesterday... I'd check the fuse, but I'm sure you've already done that by now. I'll look in my book tonight to see what else is in the wiring for you...

the clicking is a relay which is behind the kick panel on the drives side. If you are hearing the click then there is poer to the relay. Check to make sure you have a good ground at the relay.

 

Allright, I just began having the same problem, checked ground... it's good. I am also hearing the small click from a relay or something next to the fuse panel. Does anyone know what is going on?

The car does have an aftermarket alarm with the remote locks, could the alarm be causing this?

inspect the 35amp circuit breaker in the fuse panel closely. if the circuit breaker has worked itself loose from the socket or otherwise failed, it will cause symptoms like you describe.

Same thing happened to me this morning! I got in and none of the power door lock buttons on either door work anymore. The power window switches dont work either. I dont hear any clicking noises.

The windows (switches in center console) do work tho .... thinking its a fuse somewhere that only controls the stuff in the doors.

I'll need to take a look at it when I get home from work 2nite. If I cant find a fuse burnt out, does anyone have a chiltons or an owners manual that can tell me what fuse controls the stuff in the doors?
