Transmission: 700R4
Identify this part....

This came off an 87 Formula 350. I have absolutely no idea where/what this thing does. It has a vaccum line going to it and the connector is back by the distributor. Please, if anyone knows where piece goes and what it does, please respond. Thanks. The url with a pic is located below...

Looks like the EGR solenoid, or at least something to cut vacuum supply when the ECM signals it to do so.

Axle/Gears: Drums?
It's part of the egr system. One of the lines runs to the egr, which is under the plenum and the other goes???, I don't have any idea. Mines disconnected. But you have the egr solenoid if I'm right. It goes by the coil on my 91, but I'm not sure about your car.(how the hell do you spell solenoid??)

Transmission: struggling t-5/ 4l60E
Axle/Gears: 3.08/ 3.23
It's the vacuum switching solenoid for the EGR.

On a TPI intake, one line runs to the EGR & the other to the vacuum port on the bottom of the throttle body (drivers side of the TB) which T's off to the EVAP canister too.
