Question for the pros - Electrical - PICS

Ok this problem started last night. I have no idea what caused it. With the headlights off everything is normal, as seen in this picture. When I turn the headlights on I lose my volts gauge and my temp gauge. Along with the following problems my high beam indicator light comes on and my turn signal indicator lights come on and stay on, as seen in this picture. If I open the door with the headlights on everything stays the same, but if I open the door and manually turn on the interior dome light with the **** the problem goes away, as seen in this picture. I am thinking that it is a bad ground somewhere. Also everything on the exterior of the car works fine, I have no problems with the low beams or high beams and no problems with the turn signals or brake lights. Also something else that should be noted I have tried disconnecting the battery, and have checked many fuses. I did find the wire in this this post last night it was disconnected, I grounded it and the problem remains.
Please help I am stumped.

fixed my same problem today

I had the same problem, wuestion is how many times to you take your instrument cluster out? mine was just a bad connection for my dash turned out the lights were drawing all the power and making everything else screwy, some might suggest your radio dimmer wire is grounded, others will say your headlight switch could be any or all 3, all easy cheap quick checks, give em a whirl and let us know if it fixes it?

I posted in tech general, but I will post here.

I had a very similar problem. Turns out it was a short in the printed circuit board behind the gauge cluster.
Check the post "Tach jumps with turn signal" by canadian beast, here in the electronics forum.
This may also help you out.
