Where can I learn more...

Does anybody have any good tech articles on using ignition systems with computer controlled vehicles. I'm still in the planning stage (as I have been for a couple of years unfortunately) but this is one of the last areas I need to work out. I'll be running a LTR TPI on a 383 with either a Gen VII or FAST SAFM. I know I could probably use a stock computer if I burned my own chips, but I like technology and I like the ease of tunig that a compputer interface will give me. Now I just need to learn how to light all of this up. I think I'd like to go with Accel products simply for cost reasons (gotta trim cost somewhere) but any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you're talkin about burnin chips, then you're on the wrong board. Try the DFI & ECM board, and the DIY PROM board.

I'm using DFI system to eliminate chip burning -- I've got that figured out already. I'm talkin gabout how to use an MSD sstem, or Accel 300+ with that DFI. How do I get the appropriate amount of spark, is there too much, how will everything interact, how will advance be controlled, what kind of triggers will I need if I go with a more detailed ignition. I've got ignition questions, fuel management questions. Thanks.
