How To change antennae?

I have a 1989 firebird formula and my antennae motor on the power antennae won't stop. I took the fuse that the antennae was connected to and it worked, but also affects power door locks and stuff like that. What i need to know is, how can i replace my antennae? How do you get to it?
Thanks

Sounds like the nylon "fishing line" inside your antenna's mast snapped. The relay for the power antenna is underneath the plastic cover that's above the passenger's feet. I'm not sure what it's called; it's not the black "hush panel", it's the plastic piece right below your map pocket. The relay has two connectors going to it; each with three wires. One connector has three wires going into the dash- this goes to the power antenna. The other connector has two wires (one is pink) going into the dash, and the third goes to a ground screw... this connector comes from the radio. For the meantime, you could pull the power antenna's connector. That'll stop the motor.

To get at the power antenna, you need to pull the passenger side tire off. Remove the plastic inner fender. It's held to the fender with plastic rivets (pull the center out with pliers, then pry the rivet out with a screwdriver), and to the frame with 9/32" screws.
