volts go from 13 to 10 or less when A\C is turned on.
volts go from 13 to 10 or less when A\C is turned on.
why is it when i turn on the A\C it drops the volts down REALLY low when im idling. with A\C off its perfect, and when im cruising its perfect Volts with A\C on. does it really take that much power to keep the A\C clutch engaged? Alt. is about 3 months old.

yes it does plus, the fan kicks on at the same time drawing juice too. There's more techy stuff than that for why it causes more drain at idle but, I'll leave that be for simplicity reasons (among others at this time of night
)
