Whats a points wire??
Msd tech told me to hook the white wire from the MSD 6a to the points wire on the distributor...what is the "points wire" and where should i be able to find it? The car is my other car...72 chevelle 350 non-hei.

The points wire connects the points in the distributor to the "-" terminal on the coil. Connect the MSD input to the wire coming from the distributor.
