alternator wiring
where do all the wires from the alternator come from. I know the thick black one is feed from the battery but what about the other 2 that come from the bottom where the plug is. i think they're red and brown. thanx

Axle/Gears: Moser 9", Detroit Locker, 3.70
Red is the power to the field & connects to the large lug on the starter through a fusible link. Brown is the field enable & is powered when the ignition system is turned on.
