Need Help Fast
ok guys heres my problem, i recently had to take my steering colunm apart to replace the high beam black plastic peice... i dont know what its called but anyways, when i wsa putting it back together the WHITE wire that brings power to the wiper switch got caught uner a bolt and semi crushed. Well after i put it back together the wipers didnt work anymore, so i took it back apart and made myself a continuity tester, well there is power coming in and leaving the fuse box but thats were it stops. The whole thing is ground out and im not getting power any where? now if i fix the semi broken wire would this solve the problem( is it grounding out the system?) or did i blow some internal fuse somehwere else. Ive checked the repair manual and although it helps some i still dont understand most of it. please help guys , i need to get my car inspected. Thanks

did you break or cut the insulation on that wire? if so it is most likely grounding out against the steering column. I dont know if that will fix your problem, but it would be a place to start.

If the wire is grounding out (it should have blown a fuse) or broken inside the insulation then replacing the bad section of wire should restore the function of the wipers since that (white wire) is the power source for the motor.
