I keep blowiing fuses please help!!

The fuse that controls my power locks, radio, and whatever else that one does keeps blowing. Before it would blow everyone once in a while, but now I can't even put in a fuse without it blowing. What causes something like this? Thanks for the help.

If the fuse blows as soon as you fit it, that would most likely be a shorted out wire or component. If it only blows when you use one of the components that would indicate that component is faulty.

Shorted out meaning the power supply is going from the fuse via the fault straight to the body which allows way too much power to pass.

Fortunatly except for the radio the things you mention can be unplugged at their switches in the center console and doors.

Unplug the cables from the switches, and try the fuse with just the radio, if it still fuses it is either the radio or a cable fault, or you still have something faulty plugged in.

If it doesn't fuse, start plugging stuff back in and check the fuse each time to see if it blew.

Otherwise you ill have to trace the fault with an electrical meter, which is a pain.

Check the cig lighter, it is most likely shorted out in the socket.
