did u install the fog lights yourself? if so, maybe you blew the bulbs? i dont think they would have a very high resistance.

of the wires melted it would be my guess the fuse for the fog lights would have blown. to get them working again, replace the fuse and the wires, just wanted to ad my 2 cents

I don't rembmer exactly but, I think the fog lights are powered by the same circuit the marker/park lamps are on which is the 'tail' fuse I believe (?.. dunno the amprage fuse either). Anyways, if that fuse is blown then most likely your marker/park lamps won't be working either.
If the marker lamps are working, something further down the line cooked, i.e., the fog lamp switch, some more wiring you're not seeing or the relay (I'd guess the switch first but, that's just me... ).

geeze...now on to bigger problems, and questions.. what relay controls the fog lamps and or where is the switch? pics would be exceptionally helpful.

On a camaro, I'd assume somewhere close to the headlamp switch. I can't say where the relay is either, I don't have a car with factory fog lamps. Sort of worthless information, I know..
