Resetting speedometer

Can the spdo be reset to 0 mi.? How? It's an electric 140.

Yes. You'll have to remove the instrument cluster, disassemble the speedo from the cluster, slide out the odometer pin (axle), reset the wheels to wherever you want, then slide the pin back into position. The pin clips in place, and the mechanism is really quite simple. Study it for a few minutes after you get it open and it will all become very clear.

I got pics at home if you are interested in a visual but tell me frist cause at hom ei have 56k and it takes a while, i dont wanna put in the effort if it isnt worth it.

Thanks, a pic would be great if it's not to much trouble. One that show's the pin and clip I will need to remove would be great.

here ya go...

here is a picture of the retaining clip that hodls the odometer numbers in place. the second is a pic of the paper spacers that hold the tabs of each number(this is how dealers know if u commited odometer freud) and the third is the retaining clip you have to pry off. its tough but it comes off. you need to take it off to reset the numbers, but remember u have to re=use it so sav eit.
