High Beam Switch not working?

Hi Everyone...new to the forum! I hope I posted this in the right place...Hoping some one could help out.

My high beam switch does not work. It used to work only with the steering wheel tilted at the highest point, now it does not work at all? Do I need to replace the complete multi-function lever or did something come loose or electrical problem? Any one else have this problem?

Any help is appreciated...going for inspection next month and they always check the high beams!

Thanks!

The stalk operates a rod that operates a switch further down the column. Wear causes it to not latch. The switch can be adjusted.
Hang on a mo while I find the many posts on this very same thing!
Vader posted a superb thread on this.
