what is the 3rd wire on the alternator in an 88 and f-body??? I took out my wiring harness from the computer this weekend and now something is up. there is a red, black, and a third which I beleive is tan and white. the third wire on the alt the tan and white goes to the computer "im guessing" it was in that harness so im guessing it went there. any help would be great... the volts read about 9-10 and it never moves....
