brights and fogs at same time
How do you make it so the brights and fogs run at the same time? I searched but couldnt find it, I know this has come up before. I thought you cut and grounded a wire, but which one? Or is there a different way? I have a '85 TA with the stock fogs replaced with driving lights. I'm gonna do a lot of night driving up north this summer so I want the most light possible.
Thanks
Matt
Thanks

say your fog lights are wired to your low beams. if your switch is ran to your low beam wire, cant you just connect that same switch wire to the high beam circuit as well? but than again the wire harness isnt built for major wattage. i had to rebuild mine and use a relay and a circuit breaker to get the high beams to work correctly. (460watts)

Rewire the fog light relay so that it is always on with the parking lamps are on. This removes the high/low beams from the equation completely.

I was considering both ideas:
I would wire them directly to parking lights, but I dont want them on all the time( like when I'm in the city).
I also dont want to fry my harness, I have enough problems with it.
I thought I heard there was a wire I had to cut and ground but I'm not sure.
Thanks

deadbird: Thanks alot. I'm a bit confused though. Which end of the wire do I ground. The one still attached to the relay or the one that isnt?

Matt, depending on which wiring setup you have (according to the diagrams), for both, when you cut the light green wire, you need to tape off the one going into the relay (or from the light switch). The other (on the relay) gets grounded. Either way it's wiried, as long as the lt grn wire on the relay is grounded, the fogs will stay on.
