On my 88 IROC , the guages fuse just decided to blow the other day, and so i replaced it and as soon as i turned the key to the on position, it blew again, anyone know what all goes into this fuse, i looked up this problem on the archives, and found a thing about part of the transmission hooked into it, so i disconnected it and it still blew the fuse, any other ideas of what it could be? I've been lookin everywhere for any wires that could be grounding out, but havent found any yet, so any help as to what exact things i shoudl be looking towards would help, thanks.

 

EGR solinoid is also wired to that fuse.

 

i got a chilton manual the other day, and i looked at the egr solenoid, and i cant find any wires that go to it any ideas?

 

does anyone know where the 2 wires that are suppossed to be going to it comefrom, like where i mgiht be able to find them, i searched and searched and coudln't find any wires laying loose anywhere like they belong somewhere. Like where they come ou of the firewall or somewhere would help alot, thanks.

 

Thanks for helping, i found my probnlem, those 2 wires going to the egr solenoid are in between the trans and engine, thought i had all wires out of the way but guess not, well i guess i'll have that to do this weekend, thanks
