I bought this thing on ebay.Its a gm mini starter.auction claimed these are what GM uses on crate engines.starter has a laser engraved #(GM12563907) on the aluminum housing.also says deco remy on the solenoid alum end & the black plastic cap.The problem is the bolt pattern its not staggered,but its not straight either.Its slightly offset.My 84 305 bolt pattern is straight and the holes are farther apart.what is this for,is it even a gm bolt pattern.seller(kmcompany)wont reply to my emails.Any help greatly appreciated........pic below

Someone i know bought a gm zz4 crate motor and the starter was like that i think. I could be wrong.

 

thats what i read somewhere also..So theres 3 chevy bolt patterns?
