help

I,ll scan the codes out of my bird, and the article say to Run a wire from Pin 6 to Pin 12 and on late models from pin 5 to pin 6.
my bird its an 89' is it a late model?

Yes, you will need to jumper between pin 5 & 6 to get your codes.

5&6? My 91 still uses the old pins A&B to retrieve codes, top right most 2 pins.

my 89' worked with the 5 & 6 pins.

I got only one code # 54

Ok PILU,

Your code 54 means low voltage in the fuel pump circuit.

could this code 54 be the reason that my car somethis gets hard to start when it is cold?
