Calling all wells SU-145 MAF users...

This problems has been plaguing me. Got this MAF sensor and replaced relays associated with MAF sensor and I still get code 33... I've reset the computer by disconnecting the battery and I've tried to test the TPS unsuccessfully with a multimeter (stuck probes in but got no reading, might have done it wrong). It could be my TPS but I somewhat doubt it as I've not adjusted it ever. Did any of you have a similar problem? What were your expiriences with this???

When a repair shop gets a code 33 and they replace the MAF. That is not always the case, the relays on the firewall are most likely the problem. Been using the WELLS Maf for two years now without a problem. So if you want to spend $500 for a stock replacement go ahead. But in most cases itis the relays. Also how does the car run if you are getting a code 33 with a WELLS???

It doesn't run like it's supposed to. And I have already replaced the relays too.

I have the Wells unit and have had no problems with it. Have you tried it in someone elses car?

Go to the regional boards and try to find someone near you who will test it for you. If you have replaced the relays and still no joy, it may be a faulty unit. I have heard of very few people having problems with the Wells unit.
