LED's

okay i ran a quick search and couldnt find what i was looking for nor did i feel like going through 800 pages worth of posts via everything the search button brought up.

What i want to do is remove my turn signals, and run ducting for air cooled front brakes from those holes. I want to run a low profile LED and i need a link to a company where i can buy yellow LED's from, they dont have to be crazy high quality the only reason im doing this is to keep the cops off my back. Also i dont know much about LED's would they sell the mounting brackets for them? or do you have to hook em up to your own board type thing. I'm just looking for something very low profile that will keep me out of trouble from the cops.

I've done business with this company before

http://www.superbrightleds.com

good quality LED's and the price isn't that bad.

As for mounting brackets? I think you may have to fab up something yourself.

EDIT: also would someone care to explain the difference between the leds. That company lists their yellow leds at all different angles and lots of info that means nothing to me. What is an apropriate led for automotive use

the viewing angle is the amount of degrees from the front of the led, how far either way u can still see it good, after that it gets harder to see the light

From: out of my mind; be back in 5 minutes....
Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: Internal Combustion
Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
To be specific, the viewing angle is the angle at which the light output drops to ½ of the rated output. A 10° angle will put out a tight beam of light, while a 30° will still be bright, but have a wider beam.

Another option for an LED source: eLED.com

That's where I got all the LEDs for my taillights. You better know exactly what specs you need though....they have a HUGE selection (and very good prices.)
