Engine: 350 tpi, 91 vette
Transmission: 700r4
where did this go?

I have an 89 iroc with a 700r4 and there is a couple wire harneses going to the tranny. problem is there is one not pluged in. anybody know what all the conectors are for on the tranny? I have reverse lights and speedo works.

mostly likely the torque converter lock up.

wonderful. i ditched my comp and still have the tranny...what to do. wonder how its going to run... aw hell i might have to convert to stick

could i just get a non lockup converter and throw it in? would that work? this sucks, going to delay my whole project

You can get the converter to lockup even without the computer. There was an article in a magazine a while back that showed you how to do it if you are on a budget. I'll look for it later. If not then you can fork over some money & get a premade lockup harness that works without the ECM. There are a few companies that make this. Here is one. Go to FI Accessories & then look toward the bottom of the page
