not gettin power to fuse box

I'm finishin swappin my 305 tbi to a carbed 355. I got an msd ignition box, and pertronix flame thrower hei distributor. I went to fire her up and I've got no power to anything. I checked all of my cables coming off of the battery and everything's fine. What gives the fuse panel power? Does the ignition or distributor have anything to do with the fuse panel getting power? I'll take any advice. thanks a lot...Jake

I know you checked all your cables off the battery. But as a long shot, maybe there are some fusible links that went bad feeding power to the fuse box??? don't know just food for thought

One more thing. maybe your VATs is kicking in. Did you address that item when deleting the ECM. There's a thread somewhere I think that says how to bypass it. I could be wrong though.

VATS has nothing to do with power to the fuse panel. If fusible link "G" at the starter solenoid blows, it will kill power to the fuse panel and everythig that goes through the fuse panel.

is that fusible link down by the starter or up by the battery?
