From the title you already know what I am going to ask. The coolant temperature switch on the passenger side head and the knock sensor have the same plug so which one is which? I am in the process of hooking everything up on my new engine.
Which one is which? (PS, I didn’t do the ghetto wire fix job, that is my previous owners fault)

Also did I hook the starter up right? All 3 red wires and big black wire on the big terminal and the purple wire on the small terminal.

Your connector with the white wire goes to the knock sensor and the black wire goes to the heavy duty fan switch. As for your other question, the wires on the starter solenoid look good if you have the purple wire on the post marked "S".
