My car battery went completely dead so when I was working on the problem I opened my trunk and I noticed it didnt electronily lift up, I figgured that it was cuz the battery was dead. But when I fixed it it still wouldnt work. It wont pull my trunk down at all now. And I noticed my electronic convertible to release dosnet work now either. I checked all fuses under the dash and none of them were blown. I took of the plastic panaling and check all the motor connectiosn and everything was well connectd. Is it possible it is a faulty fuse that looks like its not blown but is like defecive some how. If so who knows that the fuse number is for the trunk motor....with top relseas not working and the trunk motor not working this tells me they are on like the same circute. Everything else thats electronic on the car works but these 2 things. Any info would be helpful. Also if I can not get it to work electronicly can I just get it to work manulay. Thank u......

Try checking the LID fuse, that controls the hatch release and pull-down assembly. Maybe these schematics will help.
