25amp fuse identification

25amp fuse identification

there is a 25 amp fuse that keeps blowing as soon as the ignition is turned on, its the fuse clear at the botton of the fuse pannel for a 82 trans am. the lables on the fuse pannel are no longer there and dont have a diagram as to what it controls. anyone??

Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
This will help ID the fuse...you can print it out for future reference.

Ok, here is my fuse box. The fuse that i keep having trouble with is the 25amp, second row from the bottom, on the right side of the 5 amp fuse. My best guess its the radio, not sure. If its the radio, what other things are on that circut?? The radio works fine, only because its wired straight to the battery. The actual wire for the radio,(if not being used) might be grounding out somewhere. Again, i want to thank all who has taken the time to read my posts and give any advice, you all have been very helpful. thanks.

Stock, it would run just the radio, and would have only been a 10A fuse. Unless something else was wired to it, I'd guess the wire is grounding out, probably in the console. Either find and tape up the wire, or leave the fuse out if nothing else uses it.
