VSS signal wire for a 91 V6 camaro
I tried diagrams but only found a thick red wire that says VSS power or something similar. Anyone know the exact wire for the VSS signal from the Gauge cluster?

Hello Pasky,
Here are the wires for the VSS for you.
pin B9 from ECM to pin B of VSS on tranny= purple (signal low)
pin B10 from ECM to pin A of VSS on tranny = yellow (signal high)
pin C1 from ECM to cruise control = red (VSS output (2000 p/mi)
pin B11 from ECM to I/P(pin 1 on connector C2) speedometer = gray (VSS output (4000 p/mi)
pin D16 from ECM to P/N switch = orange/black (p/n signal 12 volts).
Hope this is what you wanted.

Thanks trickster, but I need ones from inside the car, I don't have the ecm plugs anymore, know where I can locate it under the drivers kickpaneL? Thanks again.

Sorry man, the VSS buffer is located under the dash on the passenger side near the ECM if your car was a VIN "E" prior to the engine swap. It will have two connectors (C1 & C2) on it, one will have five wires and one will have two wires. C1 will have pins labeled "A" & "C", "A" is a yellow wire and "C" is a purple wire, both go to the VSS. C2 will have pins labeled "A", "C", "E", "F", & "H". "A" is ground (black/white), "C" is instrument panel (brown), "E" is cruise control (red), "F" is ECM (brown), & "H" is gauge fuse on fuse block (pink/black).
If your car was a VIN "T", "F", or "8" prior to the swap, it is as I described in my first post. On these models there is no VSS buffer module. Hope this helps you.

So C (brown) would be the wire I need to splice the VSS signal from the LT1 PCM into the "Gauge cluster"? Thanks.

If you have not removed the VSS buffer from your car, pin "C" (brown) goes from the VSS Buffer to pin #1 on connector C2 of the instrument cluster. Pin "F" (also brown) goes from the VSS buffer to the ECM (PCM). Here are the diagrams.
