Has anyone had their MSD Pro Billet distributor rust yet??I have always used MSD ignition products and up till this instance I have always been pleased with the performance and quality..than this.I bought this Pro Billet #8361 distributor for my carbed '82 Z28 last Feb of '03.Installed it in the car in June '03 when I put it back on the road..drove the car less than 1,000 miles before I parked it in Nov '03 for the winter.The car sat in a garage all winter..never got wet or anything..just sat parked..I only started it once to warm it up in Dec '03.Today I finally plated it to begin driving it again and in preperation I pulled the cap off to change the centrifugal advance springs and all I see is RUST!The springs for the centrifugal advance,the pickup coil/housing/plate,and the reluctor paddles,the rotor and cap..all the individual metal pieces throughout are RUSTED!I am going to give MSD a call monday and hopefully they will fix this or else it looks like I will be swapping to another brand of ignition.What the f**k??I have never had this problem with any of the factory HEI's I have ever owned!!
