fan won't shut off

i think this may be a wiring prob. but i really am not sure at all, my fan will not shut off at all, it does have a manual switch and still runs off the computer as well
but when i turned the switch off and turned the car off the fan stayed on, anyone know what the cause most likely is, i checked the wiring to the switch itself those look good, but don't know where else to look

Sounds like a sticking relay. Try tapping it to get the fan to shut off and replace it when you can, it's a cheap $10 part.

Should be on the passanger side near the battery and radiator.

can't find it, i tried following the wiring for the fan, there is two black wires coming out of the fan, then two of those lil yellow wire connectors, then two red wires, then those yellow things again, then black wires, one with a red strip and the other just plain then they go into the black conduit, i'm also not sure what it should look like, is it one of those little black rubber things, cause i tried even pulling the fan fuse and that still didn;t shut it off

Are the yellow things crimp connectors? Sounds like it since you say that it is wired to a switch. Relays are black rectangular boxes with probably 5 or 6 wires going into it.

yes the little yellow things are crimp connectors and i found a lil black box in the back of the engine about 4 inches to the passenger side of the distributer, has three wires goung into one side and 3 on the other side could this be it, cause i reall can't find many black boxes near the battery
