Which alternator to get?

So my Choke / Alternator light has been intermittently going off when starting and I noticed my headlights flickering very slightly. I searched the boards and the overwhealming recommendation to to replace the alternator.

Going to advanceautoparts.com / partsamerica yields a number of choices for my 86 IROC LG4. Do you have any makes / models you recommend?

Best bet is the AC Delco stock replacement. Most of the chain store stuff is junk. They use a lot of low quality offshore components during the rebuilding process. AC Delco rebuilds meet GM standards for new units. 100 amp AC Delco gen should be fine.

A/C Delco new 105 amp would be the best choice.

Thanks for the advice. When I had the whole charging system tested, the guy said the alternator was fine and I probably had a loose wire. I'm going to try and go over all of the connections to the alternator and choke to see if something is loose.
