Wireing a spot like to the dome light

Hey "i kno trickster will be in this thread lol" but this goes to everyone even better if yous have done it. when i ripped out my horrible head liner i took off the dome light cover as well cause it looked horrible.. its all yellowish and stuff..but since this is the electrical board i'll stay on that topic, i replace my normal white dome light buld to a red/blue one and both look cool, but i was thinking ,.. is there a way to wire up one of those little spot lights up to it.. that would be so bad ***...having a spot light as your dome light.. ha awsome.. like there would also be better uses for this... what if someone touched your car and the alarm went off.. then alls people see is spot lights.. that would so stand out. even if your cruisin down the road and turn the light selector to the left and was cruisin with your spot light on.. thatd be hot ****.. help me out on this tho!!!

Hello crazy3rdgen,

Did you expect me not to read something on my board? What kind of spotlight did you have in mind to put up there. I went to the junkyard and got one of those dome lights that had the two reading lights to install in mine. I also took the whole setup when I did it and wired it into the existing wire harness

IIRC, the orange wire is the positive and the white wire is the negative. At least on my 89 Iroc it is.
