Gauge cluster problem

I just changed the lights out on my camaros gauge cluster. When I turn the lights on all the lights turn on but the ones in the cluster. i made shure that the dimmer was turned all the way up and they still dont work. Any idea why?

What size (#) bulb did you use and have you checked the "TAIL" & "INST LMP" fuse?

I had a similar problem. It seems the camaro is more prone but, the terminals that the cluster plugs into tend to flatten out (loose their arch) and get corroded over time making for a bad connection. Older style clusters I've medded with tend to get 'gremlins' as in, the gauges don't read correct, a lamp or two lights when the ignition is keyed on, some lamps go out when the headlights are turned on.

An emery board nail file works well to clean the contacts and some dielectric grease will help assure good contact and help prevent corrosion. A eyeglass screwdrive works well to get under the terminal and 're-arch' it. Not saying that's deadup your problem, it's just that is what has worked for me anyhow...
