I am looking for the GTA digital dash Driver Information Center (DIC) 18-pin plug wiring diagram. This is the 3rd plug that plugs into the digital dash cluster, and it will contain inputs including doors ajar, hatch ajar, coolant level, washer fluid level among others. If anyone has any information on these sensors, their logic, and their termination points at the DIC, I would very much appreciate your post! Thanks!

 

It helps to know what year you are needing it for!!!

 

It won't matter which year...the DIC is the same for each. This is actually for a retro-fit project, so any year would be excellent. Lets say any year from 1987-1989. Thanks

My driver information center doesn't work 100%.....
Is there any way of fixing it....
The odometer and tripodometer work, but the 'average speed' is not right, and, one of my headlights went out, but it did not indicate to me that they were out........

I could really use any diagrams you have for the dash area:

Digi cluster, Hvac controls, power mirror , etc

The previous owner wasnt very wire savvy and i am trying to straighten all the dash wiring back up. As well as add power mirrors to the car soon. (hoping that wont be a major wiring adventure)

ok, i too am in need of wiring info.
I have a complete set-up minus the turn signal switch, from a 1988 car, and it's going into a 1989. I have both the 1989 and 1987 SHOP MANUALS, but not 1988. I need to now if the wires were at all different from the 3 years. Yes the 1989 did have the digital option but only a few were made, and the 1989 shop manual has no digital wiring at all in it. I am replacing from nose to tail all harnesses.

I am in great need of the diagram for the wiring of the 88 GTA Trans Am digital dash. I noticed from other posts, that you might be able to help and send a diagram to me. If it is at all possible and not to much trouble I would really appreciate it if you could email a wiring diagram to me at your convenience. I am trying to install this unit into a 91 model, and need to use it to know which wires match up correctly since the colors are different on both dash harnesses. Thanks much.
