2.8 to 3.1

2.8 to 3.1
Is a 2.8 to a 3.1 a direct swap wiring wise, I know that my tranny will bolt up, but not sure if my computer will... help me electronic gods...

If you do a search you will find hundreds of posts asking exactly what you just asked. However, if it were me I would goto a 3.4 instead of a 3.1. The 3.1 is just a 2.8 with a longer stroke. Hardly any difference in power, go drive a cavalier with a 2.8, and drive one with a 3.1 Personally hardly any difference. However if you get a 3.4 you could get a turbo 3.4!... yummmmm
