Electrical Problems

Ok heres a issue thats been bugging me I have a 87 IROC and every time I drive it I hear a ticking sound. It's coming from the passanger side by the speaker now I know this is a sign of a bad ground. However whenever I put my turn signals on or hazards the Voltage meter will drop and the ticking sound will make the gauges flicker up and down as well. Also when I turn on my head lights when you turn the headlight switch to light up or dim down the dash the voltage meter again will go down. What the heck is wrong could there be a lose wiring inside the dash ?

I have the same problem with my 83 berlinetta and the only thing I haven't checked is the back of the instrument cluster. I spent 4 hours today going over ground wires and other things, all a nogo. If I find something hopefully tomorrow I'll let ya know.
