LED turn signals

First of all dont even ask why im doing this

I need to make up a set of LED turn signals, i already have a set of good LED's but then i came to the realization that normal LED's wont work.

It has something to do with the fact that the LED's dont draw enough current and will make the flasher think the blub is burnt out, so you need to get a special kind of bulb that has something in it.

So what is that called? Where can i get that type of bulb? and can i just get something to run in line with the led's i already have to make them work?

from where? what kind of flasher do i need? I'm horribly ignorant as to how the turn signals are wired up i need more help then that.

I should also add that im not doing anything with the back turn signals or the side markers theyre staying the same. I need this figured out so when my car is on the road in a week its legal. I can build the led's in a night i just need the right parts.

a "Heavy Duty" flasher doesnt rely on the load to flash the lights.

most of the solid state flashers work too.

i seen something on superbrightleds.com. they have this load resistor that your supposed to put on each lead of the turn signal to simulate a regular filament bulb. heres the site, just scoll down till you find it.
