where do I get new fuseable links.

where do I get new fuseable links.

Where do I buy fuseable links? I tried advanced and pepboys but the ones they had were to big. These are the ones for the headlights by the way.

I think 18ga. That's about the size the headlight wires look.

i had to pick mine up from the dealer..

anyone know what would happen if you replace them with a blade style fuse holder and fuse?

From what I understand, the fusible links are used because they have less resistance than a standard blade fuse and holder would have and are less prone to overheating/melting/burning.
