today i started my car after work and turned on the air and was letting her cool down...well i started smelling somethin,kinda like a resistor,burning...well i saw smoke coming from around my steering column..so i shut it down and checked it out...didnt find anything..I got on my way home and noticed my speedo,odomoter,and trip odomoter doesn't work now...any suggestions....PLEASE HELP...idont want my car burning down...so i parked it till this weekend when i get a chance to check it out...thanks

 

Check the fuse panel to see if any blew. That's always a good starting point.

 

actually the speedo burned out for some reason but i had a guage cluster i was trying to sell on here(glad noone bought it)
