Transmission: 700r4 w/ shift kit and 2500 stall
Axle/Gears: 2.77 one tire fire!!
which ecm?
i have an 89 camaro rs originally with 305 tbi....i am pulling out the harness and have it completely free except for the fact that i cant get it throught the firewall...there is the rectangular mounting bracket in my way....does anybody know how i can get it out without cutting it? sorry about a pretty stupid question but its a real PITA

I think I know which rectangular mounting plate your talking about, it's behind the pass. side kick panel right?
On the inside of the car, there is a U-shaped pin that goes around the outside of the rectangle, you slide that out. If you have ever seen the connector of a fuel injector it's like that.
I think you pull it from the top. Look real close and you'll see it.
Flashlight helps.
