Need some ideas for a single wiper conversion or..?
I'd like to eventually set the engine back further, The first thing in the way is the windshield wiper motor. I was thinking a single center mounted wiper above the rearview mirror. What vehicle could be adapted? Another option I consider is moving the stock wiper motor over further to the drivers side and extending/ fabricating a longer linkage. Any suggestions?

'43 ***** trucks used a top mounted wiper that might fit. It used a bushing through the windshield frame and a handle/shaft the manually operated the wiper from the inside of the vehicle.
Beyond that, there aren't many vehicles that used a top mounted wiper, and probably none with a motor and transmission small enough to fit along the top windshield frame of a ThirdGen without being a crude looking lump.
