Turn signal lever wiring?
My brake lights and turn signals aren't working so I did a search and put in a new turn signal lever. The new one I bought has a long wire about 2 feet long coming out of it with a two pronged male connector at the end with an orange color to it. I installed the lever but I can't figure out where this wire plugs in under the dash. Anyone?
(BTW the old lever didn't have the wire coming out of it, it was severed and removed right at the lever by the previous owner.)

That wire is for the cruise control switch on the lever. It plugs into a connector that is probably stashed away above the steering column under the dash down near the base of the column.
