I've searched around here quickly & couldn't find a pinout of the alternator, so I googled it and found a pretty neat site which will give the pinouts and some other basic info for anyone interested. There seems to be much debate & misinformation on this device, so here goes:

Pinouts are on the 3rd and 4th pages. The example alternator has an extra terminal (L) and they use the naming convention of calling the excite terminal "IG" instead of "F", which we typically use with thirdgens...same thing, though.
