Electronic CD player wireing problem, help would be great

Okay this may be a no brainer, but then again I don't know much about car electronics. I own a 91 RS and the dude I bought the car from kind of rigged it all up, and I wanted to install a CD player in it, but the harness is gone, how would I fix this problem?
Thanks

-Chris

how far "gone" is it? as in, completely gone, or just hacked up? stereo harnesses aren't that bad to have to replace, if so. first suggestion would be to get you a replacement harness from another car and make sure you get one long enough. kinda' sounds to me that it's just been cut back. you need to have the connectors to it, as well, so make sure you get those. when you get a replacement harness, lots of guys on here have the wiring schematics and can tell you what you need to hook up and how. btw, harness would include getting the speaker harness also. hope this helps, at least to get you started. also, the harness won't have to come out of another f-body, just has to be GM.
