no signals need help
i have a 87 formula. I have a problem with my turn signals they dont work at all. but my hazards light flash and work but why does that work and my turn signals dont. someone told be that there are to differant flasher units one for hazards and one for flasher but were is it i look under driver side kick plate and don't see it

Start with chacking the 'turn b/u" 20A fuse... just for fun. Never know..
If that's good you'll have to dig under the dash to get to the flasher relay.
Remoce the bottom cover to the dash. Look up to the left of the column and you''ll find the (in)convenience center. There is a tab you can press and it will swing down. Then, clipped to the brace of the dash, you should be able to see the flasher relay.
There should be a blue and ppl wire plugged to it. The blue wire should have +12v at it with the car in 'run'. If it does, replace the relay.
The signals and hazzard relays re independant of each other.
Here's a visual... yellow- convenience center... green- flasher relay.
(it is a camaro but, firebird signal relay is in the same place.)
