help diagnose this problem

Just pulled my TA out of storage and it was running nicely for a couple of days. I parked the car in my driveway after a ride home from work and the next morning the car was dead. When I put the key in the ignition and turn the key nothing happens. I had been keeping an eye on the amp gauge and the alternator seemed to be working well. I pulled the battery and put it into my winter ride and the battery was good. Double checked the battery connections and they are good. Looked at the ground strap and it looked good except that there appeared to be evidence of a recent arcing. I looked at the plug and coil wires and they seemed ok. When I put the key in the ignition nothing works. Not lights no radio no windows no locks nothing. All I can get is some occasional faint buzzing sound (dummy warning for keys in the ignition). Any ideas???

Alternator was charging nicely. I checked the gauge about 1/2 mile from home the last time I was driving it. With a fully charged battery in the car something should work. At least the radio should be working. I have absolutely nothing functioning. Anything else??? anybody???

The cables need to be more than just looking good. You have a bad
connection early on. The most likely place is where the pos bat cable
connects to the starter. Disconnect those wires and clean everything with
a wire brush. Then reconnect and test.</FONT>

Well I went to inspect the cables again and my screwing around shook something in a good way. It started but I do not know what the problem was. I am fairly certain that eventually it will happen again. what I inspected was the ground strap on the firewall, the battery cables, the ground off of the negative terminal, and the plugs coming off of the posititve. The battery was disconnected while I was doing this so I just don't know which it is. When it happens again I should be able to figure it out. I'll post up when I find something.

Thanks
