ECM/IGN fuse is poping...not sure y...need help!

so when i was out testing my tcc plug on my 700r4 trans i had the key on and was testin for power with a test light on the plug...had the key on for maybe a min. shut it off and 10 mins later turned it back on again...no pump noise this time so i checked to see if a burnt up the inline fuel pump for my tpi setup in my truck...no its fine..so then i checked the fuse panel...i had a poped ECM/IGN fuse...so i unpluged the battery then put a new fuse in hooked battery back up and turnd key on...tryed to start and still just crankin...no start. checked fuse and again it was poped.....what the hell is goin on? no idea whats goin on now... if its not one thing its the next, and its gettin old fast

Fuses

Had something similar happen to me recently, check the fuse out by the radiator behind one of your fan relays or around the battery,it will be a small little weatherproof container bout 1" square with two wires going to it,it has a 20 amp fuse in it. On mine I like to have never found it

well this setup is in my 92 chevy truck...so it might be different. i did unplug my ecm and clean up "re rap the harness" and then repluged in the ecm...but the battery was unhook...i think...i did see that in my harness commin through the firewall about 12-15" befor the ecm hookups there is a lil 1"x2" gray box with 2-3 purple wires goin into it...i looked inside to see what it was and it just looked like a chip board..not sure what that was but im not sure if there was a fuse or not in there...what is this fuse your talkin about...what does it do...or run to?

fuses

Thought it was camaro, still not a problem, the fuse I was talking about is the fuse fortpi, ecm, fuel pump etc. Blowed mine by accident the other day checking some stuff with my switch on.It would start but not run.Yours is probably something you've checked and/or overlooked before you rewrapped your harness, most common something going to ground.Hard to do this armchair stuff without looking at it or talking to you in person.
