Help me, nothing is working

I tried to park my 88 305 camaro in the garage for memorial day weekend, and i went to turn it on and me engine started at first and then died. I tried to restart it, but nothing at all would happen. No radio, no crank, no nothing. My dome lights and headlights are the only thing that works. I do have an open air element installed, and i understand that for some people these things can cause problems... Any advice?

ewww, lets hope ur coil wire didn't make contact with the metal lower part of ur open air intake. If it grounds out then that would be bad...very bad

it wouldnt be that bad, all he would have to do is replace the fusible link at the starter.

1 bad third gen, i read the board that you posted when you were struggling with the same problems. My only question is: Where is the starter located, and where is the fusible link im looking for? I tried looking for it in the repair manual, but it didnt help at all.

the starter is located underneath the passenger side right by the transmission. it should have three wire going to the + side with fusible links which look like a cylinder plastic wraped around a red wire. splice each wire for an open circuit.

Did you install an aftermarket open air element?

I would say fusible links too. You can actually follow the wires in their wrappings from the positive battery terminal and they go along underneath the engine on the passenger side. I had some go out on the highway once.
