No replies? is the question too hard? PLEASE HELP!

Please help, I have an 84 Berlinetta that the washer pump crapped out. I took out the three bolts that hold the black cover on the motor assembly, swapped the pump motor, and now can't get the assembly back together to make my wipers work again. I have spun that little green arm in every direction I can think of, and still nothing. Also my wiper arms are about a quarter way up right now, not in the full down position. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry I can't help you with the problem. I just wanted to tell you not to waste your time spinning your wheels waiting for an answer on this board. I have been waiting a week for a relatively easy question for a problem with my car, with no reply from any of the so-called moderators in here either. Looks like you have to waste all your free time in here becoming their butt buddies and joining the lame-*** clique they apparently have going on to get any kind of help. This board is a joke, at least for newcomers.

I have an 85 Berlinetta... the electronics are different, but the pump is the same. No disassembly was needed to get the pump out

If i remember correcltyl, there should be a groove on the motor assembly that the green arm rides in.

Moderator doesn't mean guru. Just because you don't get the answer you want, it doesn't mean people are ignoring you. Ever think, maybe nobody that has READ your question, knows the answer to it?

You sure know how to make youself look bad, by whining.

In addition, part of the problem with getting your questions answered here, as on any board or forum, is that, if 15 other people post a question just after you posted yours, your post can quickly become lost at the bottom of the post page, or even on the next page. That's why you'll see alot of folks repost in their thread TTT, meaning "to the top", so that their post is brought back up on the page to be seen again.

And as mentioned, you can see how many folks viewed your post easily - and it's quite possible that no one knew the answer. I remember reading the wiper post, and I didn't know an answer either. I was also confused a tad, for you said pump motor, but obviously you are doing the wiper motor - the pump motor is in the washer fluid tank and has nothing to do with the wiper arms.

And on the digital dash post, there were 116 views and 11 replies thus far - that's not bad in a week's time - especially on something that's not done everyday.

Okay, I am not sure if everyone is mad at me, or the guy that posted on my thread, If I said something to **** someone off, sorry. Anyhow, I am just begging for help. I realize "now" that I didn't have to take the black cover off of the wiper motor assembly, even though my wiper pump is inside of it, but I did take it off and now I am stuck. Another solution for me would be if anyone knows what color wires go where if I put the whole assembly out of an 88 IROC that does have the pump in the tank, and not attached to the motor cover. I don't know, maybe there is no answer but trial and error, hope I don't burn anything up, Berlinetta wiring sucks!

Thanks all

The berlinetta wiper electronics are unique. Any others won't work. If you can't figure out how to get yours together, Email the webmaster of this site.
Berlinetta - The Digital Camaro
I get all my berlinetta specific parts from him. I had to get a wiper motor from him after my circuit board fragged for unknown reasons. HE is extrememly helpful... Hell, he might even have pointers on how to get it back together. Very fair pricing too.
