turn signal problem

my turn signals will not light up eaither inside or outside i have changed fuses turn signal switch. my hazards headlights (high and low beams) wipers all work. no wires are cut. please help me i have many problems with this 84 camaro this is not major but will not pass inspection w/o

I think you have a bad flasher unit.

A missing flasher will also cause that...maybe it unplugged itself and ran out the door?

Remove the panel under the steering column (one torx screw on each side) and you will see a circle can thing hanging to the right side of the steering column thats that flasher for the turn signals. the writing on it says (wagner 224 12V)

i have the chiltons book and in the diagram there says there should be two of those however when i opened it there was only one in there and no wire connecting to where the other one should be anyway i replaced that and it still did not help

thanks it was the flasher unit let me tell you it was very well hidden but now turn signals work now on to more pressing problems such as bleeding the brakes
